SFA is an agency of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Its job is to fund and regulate adult further education and skills training in England. Its mission is to ensure that people and businesses can access the skills training they need to succeed in playing their part in society and in growing England’s economy.

Investors in People was originally set up as a voluntary framework by a group of companies in 1991 at the end of the last recession. Designed by business, for business, Investors in People accreditation demonstrates the commitment of Positive Outcomes to its staff and standards of work.

The matrix Standard is a unique, national quality framework that is applicable to any organisation delivering IAG (information, advice and guidance) in the context of learning and work, whether internally or externally. The matrix Standard consists of eight criteria known as elements that relate to key business processes and will help your organisation to maintain high standards and continuously improve your services.

The REC is the representative body for the UK’s £27 billion private recruitment and staffing industry with a membership of more than 8,000 corporate members comprising agencies and businesses from all sectors and 6,000 members of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) made up of recruitment consultants and other industry professionals. All members must abide by an REC Code of Professional Practice.

Train to Gain is meeting the demands of employers from all sectors to improve the skills of their employees as a route to improving their business performance. The Training Quality Standard (TQS) is an assessment framework and an assessment and certification process that has been designed to recognise and celebrate the best organisations delivering training and development solutions to employers.
