A free taster session to introduce the latest in employee training that is focussed on interaction, flexibility and the key issues that businesses are facing today, is to be run in Leeds later this month, by national, award-winning training provider, Positive Outcomes… Read more
“Our Corporate Training courses are dynamic and interactive, and were developed following an increased demand for short courses that focus on a variety of key business issues,” explains Positive Outcomes’ Head of Training Martin Wright.
“Our training delivery addresses each business’ main priorities, in a fresh way that is underpinned by learning through thinking, and by learners being ‘involved’ in the training right from the off. This fresh new approach to corporate training will be showcased at a free event for businesses in Leeds, at the Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa on Tuesday 29th November.
“The event will see our trainers talk less, and our learners do more,” adds Martin. “We consider it vital to respect our learners’ level of experience by drawing out their knowledge and sharing it with our participants. Our trainers’ role is to focus on critical content and close skills and knowledge gaps, rather than tell them what they already know.”
Positive Outcomes launched its all-new range of corporate training earlier this year and is running the taster sessions as part of its latest showcase roadshows at major UK cities, including Leeds.
“The series of showcase events presents the ideal opportunity for businesses to find out more about our corporate training. The portfolio covers Management & Leadership, Business Skills, Business Compliance and IT Skills and we are holding the free taster event in Leeds to provide the opportunity for local businesses to experience a bite-sized version of some our programmes, free of charge and without obligation.
“This series has been named ‘Fun at the Fair’, and will demonstrate how corporate training really can be fun, as well as informative. Our team of highly skilled and experienced trainers will give a short introduction to a selection of our courses, including Promoting Equality in the Workplace, and Achieving Excellence in Customer Service; as well as discussing the benefits of accelerated learning.”
Keith Mears, Financial Controller of Universal Aluminium, attended one of the last Positive Outcomes’ Corporate Training Showcase events. He said: “The event was very thought provoking. Positive Outcomes’ approach to corporate training is refreshing and different. The concept of highly interactive training of small groups of employees is excellent, and on the strength of the Showcase event and discussions with Positive Outcomes’ training team, the company delivered Anti Bullying and Harassment training this year.”
Martin adds: “We are running a morning and afternoon showcase for each date and venue in the series, with each lasting approximately two hours and including nibbles and networking.”
The free event takes place at Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa, Leeds on Tuesday 29th November 2011. To reserve a place, contact Lee Speed Tel: 0845 6435566, or email: email@example.com. For more information about Positive Outcomes, visit: www.positiveoutcomes.org.uk.
